Ok, So I was cruising an interesting forum on the net and I came across this ridiculous BS about how we never sent a man (Americans that is) to the moon! LOL! What a bunch of plain and unadulterated Conspiracy mumbo jumbo Bullshit!

This one poster actually had the nerve to say that the Russians beat us in space and we used the lunar landing as some PR stunt because we were angry that they were so much better than us and had won the space race:

I am at wits end with these jackasses and had to reply in kind. I cannot believe that anyone would be dumb enough to believe that:

A. we had the kind of technology in July of 1969 to fake something of this magnitude and vast endeavor
B. That somehow we were able to place a giant mirrored type mechanism on the moon which to this day reflects data back to earth without actually being there to install it.

And on and on.

There will always be idiots like that out there, unfortunately. I've never completely understood why people think like that myself. After all, don't we have samples of Moonrocks and dust and other stuff like that? How the hell do these people think we got them?
